Syneron E-Matrix ®
Sublative Rejuvenation using eMatrix
"In my trials, I have found that eMatrix results in a unique combination of skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, skin tightening and even lifting with less downtime than traditional skin rejuvenating treatments. My patients are pleased with the fast, visible results of smoother, brighter and tighter skin, without having to sacrifice time from their busy schedules."
Amy Taub, M.D., Dermatologist, Illinois
Powered by the revolutionary elos Technology, the eMatrix system with Syneron®’s unique Sublative Rejuvenation treatment goes beyond fractional methods for skin resurfacing. Sublative Rejuvenation is a non-laser and non-light-based treatment that utilizes RF sublation fractionated bipolar radio frequency technology to place the heat energy effectively into the dermis where it can produce significant dermal impact with minimal epidermal disruption.
These results have been proven in clinical trials. In plain english it offers great results!

Sublative Rejuvenation treatment may result in improvement of …
The eMatrix system’s ergonomic applicator delivers bipolar radio frequency energy via a matrix of 64 electrodes in the disposable applicator tip. The RF energy generates fractional deep dermal heating in the region of the electrode matrix to induce skin injury, thus eliciting a wound healing response. Less affected tissue surrounding the matrix points may be stimulated by heat which helps accelerate the healing process, leading to tighter, rejuvenated appearance of the skin.
After treatment with the eMatrix system for Sublative Rejuvenation, most patients showed improvement in facial parameters such as skin brightness (83%) and skin smoothness/wrinkle reduction (90%)1.

SelectPulse™ Adds Versatility
The SelectPulse feature includes three Sublative Rejuvenation programs, allowing treatment to be customized for individual patients by adjusting the depth and intensity of dermal heating.
Program A—Shallow Impact: Mild ablation, dermal heating and skin resurfacing—for improvements in overall skin tone and texture.
Program B—Mid-Level Impact: Moderate ablation, dermal heating and skin resurfacing—for color and textural irregularity correction.
Program C—Deepest Impact: Intense ablation and skin resurfacing.
An Affordable Way to Meet the Demand
Proven efficacy in clinical trials.
Tunable fractional technology – 3 programs which emulate the tissue effects of common skin resurfacing fractional laser technologies.
Radio frequency energy is suitable for all skin types plus the clinical benefit of deep dermal heat spread — leading to the appearance of skin tightening.
A procedure that is easy and safe.
Quick treatments: typically 10 to 20 minutes depending on area treated
Short treatment protocol: 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart.
Minimal downtime so clients can quickly resume their normal activities
Safe for all skin types
Visibly Better Fractional Skin Resurfacing
As clients learn more about fractional skin resurfacing, they are increasingly requesting this procedure. The minimal downtime, reduced cost of the procedure compared to traditional skin resurfacing, and pleasing results all make it a procedure that continues to grow in popularity.
How Matrix RF Works
The Matrix RF applicator is the first non-laser and non-light-based aesthetic device capable of creating tunable ablation/skin resurfacing impact, simulating the effects of different types of skin resurfacing lasers used for a range of aesthetic applications.
Matrix RF uses an industry unique fractional radio frequency technology to provide effective, controlled fractional treatments. During treatment with Matrix RF, each pulse delivers conducted radio frequency energy via a grid of 64 matrix spots.
The RF energy induces a skin injury which is maximized in the region of the matrix spots with an accelerated healing process supported by the tissue surrounding the matrix spots. The system’s SelectPulse technology allows customized treatment, enabling various degrees of overlap of the affected skin areas to treat a range of skin conditions and skin types safely.
After treatment with Matrix RF, physicians in early studies also reported that 87% of patients treated for skin laxity and photo damage experienced improvement in these indications.
Matrix RF Application Tip: Sterile, Safe, and Low-Cost
An important safety aspect of the Matrix RF is the sterile and disposable treatment tip. It is crucial that the tip, which comes into contact with the ablated tissue, be dedicated to each client, eliminating any risk of cross-contamination.
SelectPulse™ – The Matrix RF Clinical Advantage
Matrix RF is equipped with SelectPulse to enable customization of the depth of ablation and degree of skin resurfacing based on your patient’s needs. Choose from three programs to emulate the most common treatments found in most stand-alone fractional systems.
Fractional Ablative Skin Treatments Include:
Wrinkles
Scar revision
Acne scar revision
Textural irregularities
Superficial skin lesions
Skin Laxity
